Alien Civilization Uncovered in Mesopotamian Writing

Ancient astronaut theorists uncover Mesopotamian inscriptions that provide evidence of the Anunnaki existence thousands of years ago. See more in this clip from “Aliens and Lost Civilizations.”

The Anunnaki (Sumerian: 𒀭𒀀𒉣𒈾, also transcribed as AnunakiAnnunakiAnunnaAnanaki and other variations) are a group of deities of the ancient SumeriansAkkadiansAssyrians and Babylonians.[1] In the earliest Sumerian writings about them, which come from the Post-Akkadian period, the Anunnaki are deities in the pantheon, descendants of An and Ki, the god of the heavens and the goddess of earth, and their primary function was to decree the fates of humanity.

Also refer to the Origin Stories of Sumer (The Epics of Gilgamesh, et al), especially the story of Dilmun and the Deluge (the great flood). References to the Anunnaki in connection with Sumer and Mesopotamia actually date back into antiquity, though sadly this piece doesn’t cite the references to the books used to collate the stories.
