MJ-12, MAJIC, and Majestic 12-by whatever name-is in the news with more frequency, and a relatively new research organization in California may be part of the reason.
Majestic Documents.com founders began scouring public and government libraries for documentation on the super-secret agency in 1995, and in 1999 began posting information on its www.majesticdocuments.com. MJ-12 is believed to be a high-level, top-secret organization within the government that has been investigating UFO and alien-contact since the 1940s. Government denies it, ufologists despise its secrecy, and Dr. Robert and Ryan Wood are out to unravel it.
The Redwood City, CA organization says it’s researching the trail of the elusive MJ-12 in numerous public libraries and archives, such as the Truman Library and other repositories of presidential memoirs and documents. Its most recent discoveries include top-secret memoranda from Presidents Harry S Truman and Franklin D. Roosevelt that reference the MJ12 organization, call for further investigation into UFO incidents, and suggest using ET technology for the nation’s benefit during war. Reproduced on the website are a series of documents from the time of the first reported alien craft crash in 1941.
And it does not appear that the organization can easily be accused of being a fringe group of paranormal-paranoid individuals. For one thing, entry to the website features quotes from respected, credible officials in the know who believe there is, in fact, intelligent alien life Out There: Presidents Truman and Carter, a former CIA director, a high-level chief lord marshall in England, astronauts and well-known scientists.
Nor are the group’s investigators lacking credibility.
Robert Wood holds a bachelor of science degree in aeronautical engineering from Colorado and a doctorate in physics from Cornell. He had a 43-year career at McDonnell Douglas managing research and development projects and has been investigating UFOs for 30 years.
Ryan Wood has a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and computer science from Cal Poly and has research UFO documentation for 20 years. Investigator Stanton T. Friedman holds a masters degree in physics from the University of Chicago, “and has the distinction of being the longest full-time lecturer and researcher in ufology,” says the majesticdocuments.com website. ” He is an expert on the 1952 Eisenhower Briefing Document, the first civilian investigator of the Roswell Incident, has given over 700 lectures about UFOs in 15 countries, and been to 19
Then there’s Timothy S. Cooper, who began his investigation into CIA and NSA UFO activities in 1988 through FOIA requests. And Jim Marrs, journalist and author of best-selling books like Crossfire and Alien Agenda. And Gary Beebe, a producer of award-winning historical documentaries over the past 15 years and a former detective specializing in crime scene investigations, photography, questioned documents and counterfeit detection. Contributors to the website and investigations also read like a who’s who of ufology: Dr. John Alexander, Don Berliner, James A. Black, Dr. Ronald Blackburn, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Clarkson, Rick Coimbra, Paul Davids, Tom H. Faris, Joe P. Firmage, Timothy Good, Jan Harzan, Dr.Richard Haines, Michael Hesemann, Linda Moulton Howe, Frank J. Kaufmann William La Parl, Michael Lindemann, Charlette Mann, Jesse Marcel, Jr., Robert McArtor, William Louis (Bill) McDonald, Joe McMoneagle, Brian Parks, Dr. Hal Puthoff, John Schuessler, Professor Michael Swords.
Marcel Kuijsten, webmaster for Majestic Documents.com, served as an intern at the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) lab, has also developed websites for The Center for Space Science and Astrophysics at Stanford University, the Society for Scientific Exploration, and the National Institute for Discovery Science, among others. He was on the editorial staff of the Journal of Scientific Exploration.
“The team’s mission is to clarify the UFO phenomenon, its agenda and history, and to implement the most effective way to educate the public and world governments to its reality and implications,” says Wood. Its goals are to “aggressively collect data and draw conclusions, create an environment conducive to public disclosure of information withheld by all inside sources, educate and present findings and conclusions to the public, and establish a dialogue with the broader community including religions, governments, and political parties.”
“Our hope is that over the next five years, the UFO community or other visionaries will succeed in bringing forth overwhelming proof of the UFO/ET reality. Particular attention will be paid to recovered alien technology which will help solve planet Earth’s problems of pollution, energy, population, and intolerance, and point towards unlimited energy and economical interstellar travel,” says the website.
