Underwater UFO Bases and Congressional Revelations: Are We Finally Learning the Truth?

For generations, the oceans have held secrets we can barely begin to fathom. Covering more than 70 percent of the planet, they remain less explored than the surface of the Moon. In recent months, those depths have become central to a mystery now echoing through the halls of Congress: are advanced craft and even entire bases hidden beneath our seas?

This question, once relegated to speculative circles, is now being asked by elected officials, military whistleblowers and intelligence insiders. When a Congressman publicly states that “massive underwater UFO bases” exist and demands answers, it is clear that something has shifted. The conversation is no longer confined to folklore or late-night radio; it has entered the realm of national record.

The Congressman Who Asked Too Many Questions

Representative Tim Burchett has become one of the most outspoken voices in Congress on the UAP issue. In his view, multiple underwater locations across the globe appear to host advanced craft, moving at speeds no human-built submarine could match. Naval personnel have described chasing objects at hundreds of miles per hour underwater, while their fastest subs barely reached forty.

Burchett’s willingness to press these questions publicly makes him a lightning rod. He suggests that these beings may not be distant visitors at all but long-term residents of Earth, concealed in the depths for millennia. If true, that challenges the very foundation of how we think about our place in the universe.

AUTEC: The Navy’s “Area 51 of the Ocean”

The Bahamas, specifically Andros Island, is home to the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Centre (AUTEC). Officially, it is a submarine testing facility. Unofficially, it has been called the “Area 51 of the ocean.” Positioned on the edge of the Bermuda Triangle, it is surrounded by reports of craft plunging into the sea and luminous objects rising from the depths.

Two independent testimonies decades apart describe vast underwater cities near this location. A US Army insider known as JP recalls being taken in a sophisticated submarine — not of apparent human design — to a domed city resembling Dubai, complete with a giant white pyramid. Another witness, just 10 years old in 1979, drew three domes after claiming to have been taken underwater in the same region. His drawing, dated at the time, provides eerie corroboration across generations.

If correct, these accounts suggest not just visiting craft but entire installations hidden beneath the waves.

The Thread of Pre-Selection

One of the most controversial claims tied to these testimonies is the idea of pre-selection. Certain individuals, often from a young age, appear to be identified and drawn into secret programmes based on unusual abilities. The child witness from 1979 fits this narrative, as do others who later report involvement with what have been dubbed “Secret Space Programmes.”

To the mainstream, this sounds implausible. Yet to those who study patterns across multiple testimonies, it is a recurring theme that cannot be ignored. If governments or other powers are indeed recruiting children with latent abilities, then the story of UAPs is also a story of human potential and control.

New Congressional Testimony

On 9 September 2025, a congressional hearing brought fresh weight to these claims. For the first time, multiple service members and analysts gave sworn testimony about encounters that blur the line between sky and sea.

  • Senior Chief Alexandro Wiggins (US Navy) described a luminous tic-tac-shaped object rising from the ocean and joining three others before all four accelerated away instantaneously. Radar and infrared sensors recorded the event, and the data overlays showed precise coordinates and times.
  • Jeffrey Nuccetelli (US Air Force) detailed incursions at Vandenberg’s missile sites, including a massive red square and triangular craft hovering silently before vanishing. He later discovered that police records of these events had been systematically destroyed.
  • Dylan Borland (Intelligence/BAE Systems) recounted a close encounter with a plasma-like triangular craft near Langley, describing interference with electronics and subsequent reprisals when he tried to pursue the matter further.
  • George Knapp (investigative journalist) highlighted how many of the most sensitive materials are held by contractors, outside of traditional FOIA reach, creating a bottleneck for transparency.

These accounts, tied to names, dates and sensor data, elevate the discussion far beyond rumour. They also tie directly into the underwater theme: Wiggins’ testimony places trans-medium craft — capable of moving seamlessly from sea to sky — on the official record.

The Technology That Shouldn’t Exist

If true, the performance characteristics described defy known science:

  • Instant acceleration with no sonic boom.
  • Seamless trans-medium travel between water and air.
  • Craft that split and rejoin as if alive, suggesting some form of plasma consciousness.
  • Energy weapons or defences reportedly encountered by divers in Russia’s Lake Baikal, where luminous beings repelled capture attempts.

The implications of even one of these accounts being accurate are enormous. Energy, propulsion, and even medicine could be revolutionised by studying such technology. Which raises the obvious question: why hide it?

Whistleblowers Under Pressure

Many who come forward describe intimidation, career destruction or worse. Without robust whistleblower protections, countless stories remain untold. Witnesses argue that contractors, not just governments, are the gatekeepers of these secrets, and that private control has shielded technologies from public accountability for decades.

This is where congressional hearings matter. By creating a public record, they offer a degree of safety for those willing to step forward. The question now is whether lawmakers will act to preserve data, audit contractor custody, and protect future testimony.

Why the Oceans?

The oceans provide the perfect cover. They are vast, largely unexplored, and beyond the reach of satellites. For an advanced civilisation seeking to monitor, interact with or even co-exist alongside humanity, the sea offers concealment and security. It is possible that these presences have always been here, unnoticed only because we have been looking upward, not downward.

Are We Ready for the Truth?

For those open to alternative interpretations, the evidence is building. For sceptics, the lack of physical artefacts remains a stumbling block. But the direction of travel is clear: sworn testimony, multi-sensor data, and corroborated accounts are creating a narrative that can no longer be laughed off.

If the oceans do conceal advanced civilisations, humanity will have to reckon not just with their existence but with what it means for us. Are we latecomers to a planet already inhabited by others? Or are these visitors merely hiding until the time is right to reveal themselves?
